Chelsea Clinton Welcomes Third Child
Clinton gave birth to a daughter on Saturday, September 28.
The baby is the third child for Clinton and her husband, Marc Mezvinsky.
Chelsea Clinton, the daughter of former President Bill Clinton and Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, has given birth to a daughter, her third child.
Clinton announced the birth of her daughter on Twitter on Sunday morning.
"Our family is overjoyed to welcome our newest addition," she wrote. "Charlotte Clinton Mezvinsky was born last night at 9:05pm, weighing 7 lbs 3 oz."
Clinton and her husband, Marc Mezvinsky, have two other children, a daughter named Charlotte and a son named Aidan.
Clinton is a writer and activist. She has written several children's books, including "She Persisted: 13 American Women Who Changed the World" and "Don't Let Them In: Keeping the Child Predators Out of Your Life."
Mezvinsky is an investment banker. He is the son of former U.S. Rep. Ed Mezvinsky and former Pennsylvania Treasurer Marjorie Margolies.
